THIS GENERATION'S TEENAGERS — PRESSURE, PURPOSE, AND PRAYER
Today's teenagers navigate a landscape that no previous generation has faced: algorithmic social media designed to addict, gender ideology dismantling identity from childhood, mental health crises reaching epidemic proportions, and a culture of instant gratification destroying capacity for long-term faithfulness. And yet, God has always moved most powerfully through young people. Every major revival in church history had young people at its epicentre. This generation is not too far gone; they are being prepared.
PRAYER POINTS
Ask the Lord to counter the algorithm, that teenagers scrolling through social media would be intercepted by divine appointments, testimonies, and Gospel truth that shifts the trajectory of their lives. (Isaiah 55:11)
Pray for teenagers battling anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation, that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding would guard their hearts and minds, and that they would find safe, Spirit-filled community. (Philippians 4:7)
Intercede for teenagers in Christian homes who are drifting, being carried by their parents' faith but not yet owning their own. Pray for their personal encounter with the living God. (Acts 9:5)
Ask God to raise up anointed youth ministers and mentors in 2026, men and women who are culturally fluent enough to connect with today's teenagers and spiritually mature enough to lead them toward Christ. (Titus 2:6-8)
Pray for the protection of teenagers from sexual predators, human traffickers, cult recruiters, and online groomers, let God build an invisible wall of protection around the vulnerable. (Psalm 34:7)

The Lord says: “Your value is not defined by the world around you, but by the purpose I placed within you. I am raising you for influence, impact, and transformation, not distraction.”
